Welcome to Little Downs Cattery
Little Downs Cattery is a friendly family run cattery set amongst the tranquil rolling countryside at the footholds of the Quantock hills. We have 5 family chalets and 15 standard chalets meaning we can accommodate almost every customer’s needs throughout even busy periods of the year. Situated less than a mile outside Lydeard St Lawrence, we have customers from Taunton, Bridgwater, Minehead, Wellington and the Exmoor National Park area.
A calm, content and relaxed environment
We pride ourselves in the best customer service and remain as flexible as possible to make yours and your cats experience smooth and enjoyable. Once your cat is within our care, we observe them constantly to make sure we adapt each of their chalets and enclosures to their own individual needs. We treat all cats as individuals and spend significant amounts of time with them ensuring they feel calm, content and relaxed. We absolutely love what we do and feel blessed to spend our days giving the best care possible to your beloved pet.

Meet Susie and Jo, who have been the owners of Little Downs Cattery since October 2018 and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know all our loyal customers – and of course their cats!
Our facilities and services
We have a wonderful purpose built cattery which is well maintained and kept meticulously clean. We have 20 Chalets for either single cat – or multiple cat households.
Opening times and prices
At Little Downs we actively encourage new customers to come and have a look around and meet us in person. When you leave your beloved cat with people, we understand you need to have a trust and feel for who we are.

We pride ourselves on being available 7 days a week and our objective is to get back to every enquiry within an hour, if we have missed the initial contact whilst with the cats.
